Andover Space Programme is delighted to announce the Andover spacecraft now has a name! Chosen by Andover Young Carers after extensive deliberation of the suggestions made by the general public, it was settled: Spayce McSpace Face is the name of the craft which will fly up to 30km above Andover under a high-altitude balloon.

The space craft name announced by Tom Mansfield at 3.30pm today at Chapel Arts Studios Space Craft Naming Day. He reported that there had been intense discussions to settle upon a name that reflected the spirit of the project and the people involved.
Spayce McSpaceFace will take the poems, messages, images, and stories shared by the people of Andover up to the edge of space on Sunday 1st of December, weather permitting (stand by for updates). There is still time to add your message – email missioncontrol@chapelartsstudios.co.uk
