People in Andover have been sharing what makes them optimistic. In the lead up to the Andover March for Optimism, we are all invited to consider what unites us, what makes us happy, and what we have to celebrate. Everything counts – from something as small like waking up to sunshine, to something large like faith in the human race.
The Andover March for Optimism takes place on Saturday 20 June.
Meet at 4pm at The Lights.
The community procession through Andover town centre will form a festival of optimistic slogans generated by the public. The march organiser Peter Driver is interested in the way we interpret our world and is fascinated by the idea of Optimism. His work encourages us to experience self-reflection. After organising a successful march in Winchester City Centre last year, he is looking forward to leading an even better one in Andover and hopes to see many local people involved.
If you want to make your own banner or placard come to The Bureau of Exchange on the 18th or 19th June for a making day with Peter. You can find us a 2b Union St, Andover.
