Day 2 of the Truth-Dare-Art research & peer-learning event took place at Love Andover and involved practical testing of ideas, and discussions about challenges and best practices for creative practitioners. The radio station supported the event by interviewing the participants on air throughout the day.

The Venue: Andover Radio’s Community Room

‘The French Artist’ Laurence Dube-Rushby
The morning involved a short walk to CAS (the chapel in Andover cemetry) where the ‘Contagion’ exhibition is now on show. Attendees met the artist, and were invited to engage directly with her work.
After a picnic lunch the artists, educators and creative practitioners headed back to Andover Radio.
Working in groups they were set the task of responding to a DARE: go out on the street and try to make a difference in one hour.
The table of materials was laid out waiting for them to select materials they might want to work with. Behind the table you can see artist prints created by Laurence’s class of 14 year olds on display.
You can find out what happened in the streets on the Truth-Dare-Art blog which was updated by guest blogger Felicie Kertudo throughout the day.
