About the project
CAS at Kings is a project lead by recent Winchester School of Art graduate, and printmaker Georgia de Buriatte. Having provided various workshops, including one division of the National Saturday Club, Georgia realised extracurricular art activities were important to provide to budding artists. This project takes more complex printmaking techniques and takes them into a school setting, giving young people experience with a practicing artist and methods they would not otherwise get.
The CAS@Kings project runs over several months, teaching a variety of different printmaking methods, and culminating in an exhibition to display the girls work. Not only will they get a chance to learn new skills in terms of making, but also in curating, branding, and collaborative work. Look into the blog, Instagram, and Pinterest to explore more about the project.
