Deborah Skinner

Deborah Skinner Art
Deborah SkinnerDeborah uses film and printmaking to communicate different experiences and perceptions of autism. Deborah has three sons, all of them sit somewhere on the autistic spectrum, but her youngest son Felix has full blown, severe autism. He has an intelligent brain locked in a nonverbal world. Her films are glimpses of another existence, sometimes uncomfortable snapshots of fragmented information, distorted sound, and disordered vision.
