SPACE – We have launched a workshop programme this year, Associates can book the Chapel for free (2019 only) to run their workshops. Your income will come from selling tickets. Associates get first dibs, and we book up to 2 months in advance. Workshops chosen by selection so not all may be accepted, but all workshop offers most welcome. Contact Susan.

CONNECT – contact Maija to arrange an Associate meet-up of your choice for discussion, creative play, or otherwise.

Support for artists

You can contact Maija to book a 1-1 session or ‘Collaborate and Connect Wednesday’ and generally email Susan and Maija at any time about getting the most from your Associateship.

Peer-to-peer learning is how we roll, so you are also welcome to offer an invitation for a ‘Studio Lab’ evening of creative play. Start with your practise and what you’re interested in and discuss with Maija. Once we have agreed a date we will circulate an invitation to Associates (see examples here).

Collaborations

The Laboratory of Dissent 2019 Exhibition proposal has been approved by Winchester Gallery and selected CAS artists will be taking part in November. It’s unifying theme is the notion of Inside/Outside. If you missed the boat for this opportunity you can still get involved in a variety of other ways – contact us to discuss.

Related opportunity: All CAS artists are invited to submit an A3 sized flat work/image of some kind to Chapters collection on the theme ‘Inside / Outside’ during 2019. The Chapters “living archive” acts as an evolving dialogue and will be employed as a discussion starter for future exhibitions, collaborations and events. We will be focusing on really growing it this year.   About    Read more
