Health and Wellbeing through Creativity
This course is:
– Non clinical
– Free to individuals who will benefit
– NO previous creative experience needed
– Providing help with mental health, isolation and wellbeing in general
CAS is pleased to offer a new course specifically for health and wellbeing through creativity. We have six places available on our first ‘Core Art Journaling’ course with the wonderful artist, Deborah Porter . No previous experience or skills in art are needed to join. The course is creative, fun and non clinical, free for individuals to attend and especially for those who are perhaps isolated, coping with low level mental health conditions, or indeed any health issues that would benefit from a little ‘me’ time.
At the moment we will run the course in person, in a Covid assessed environment in Andover Library with separate desks, individual materials and plenty of space for people to work safely. Should there be changes to current guidelines, we will continue the course remotely online. The 10 week course will run every Wednesday from 11am – 1pm and will finish with an exhibition at Chapel Arts Studios (CAS).
