Artists

Maintaining an active community of Associate Artists is an essential part of our strategy for growth and sustainability. The Associate Scheme is a supportive peer-network committed to growing and developing together with CAS and each other. This is what we have in common….

We support artists at all stages of their careers. Find out about membership here.

CAS Memories and Stories

Lydia’s favourite memory of CAS is “Being given space and time to just play with artists. I think that’s really precious, amazing and nourishing. I remember that period being really great in terms of experimenting and figuring out ways of collaborating with artists that I really enjoyed.”

Lydia Heath, talks about her time as a CAS Associate Artist during which time she established the CAS Dissent program with Laboratory of Dissent 2015 and the CAS Bureau of Exchange pop-up shop. Lydia now works at ONCA as the gallery manager in Brighton.

Watch this video to find out what two things had the biggest impact on Lydia during her time at CAS.
