Chapel Arts Studios Graduate Residency in Salisbury 2025
Chapel Arts Studios are excited to offer a tremendous opportunity for a young graduate artist who wishes to develop their skills and experience working in the field of art and education - in collaboration with The Salisbury Sixth Form College.
The Salisbury 6th Form College are looking for a resident young art graduate to come into college regularly throughout the next academic year from September 2025 to summer 2026. Please note this is a volunteer unpaid position but with benefits.
The residency is for 1 and 1/2 days per week - including Fridays.

Every Friday students are invited to use the art room as a studio, as this is in non-teaching time for the art staff, the graduate artist will have access to some space and a desk in the art room to make their own work. As well as offer some support (mostly inspiration and motivation while in the room for students). Additionally, the young graduate will be invited to create prompts for classroom activities such as printmaking, drawing, sculpture, photography, textile or ceramic. The department has a small photographic darkroom and screen printing facility.

- CAS Associate Artist professional development membership for 1 year, providing access to all opportunities, facilities and events (worth £132)
This is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop skills in planning, delivering and evaluating art projects, as well as installing an exhibition, networking and learning from other artists.
This opportunity will be an excellent chance for any recent graduate artist considering a career in art education. We welcome expressions of interest from both recent undergraduates and post graduates within one to three years of graduation from an art school.
