National Saturday Club

Andover College and Chapel Arts Studios are thrilled to invite 13–16 year-olds of all abilities to join our FREE Art & Design Saturday Club!

The Club will offer exciting weekly sessions, which take place in the vibrant art department at Andover College.

We’re looking for curious young artists, designers, makers, crafters, creators and thinkers. Our Club is fully inclusive and we welcome young people with a variety of accessibility needs and neurodiversity – all we ask is that you come with an open mind, turn up and give it a go!

Jacob Mason

Jacob is one of the session leaders for the National Saturday Art Club, who specialises in illustration and painting in his own practice. 

Maddie Smith

Maddie is the Chapel Arts Studios co-host of the National Saturday Club at Andover College. A locally trained Interior & Textile designer, now also teaching Art & Design.

Caitlin Taylor

Cat is our Art Assistant at Chapel Arts Studios and helps with running various creative classes and community art events.

Our Club enables you to develop your creative ideas and explore your interests in making, designing and crafting. Club members are encouraged to ignite their passion for the arts through experimental drawing projects, as well as exploring techniques in printmaking, 3D-making, sculpture, ceramics, textiles and mixed media arts. Members learn to work independently, as well as how to collaborate on art projects too! Previous themes included self-portrait, storytelling, member-led topics, and many more.
