A solo exhibition exploring how we remember others & how we relate to our memories through experimental animation, dance, and mixed media.
Marian Obando is an artist working between mixed media animation, music and dance
improvisation. Through these and other mediums, she explores themes around
memories, dreams and the body.
After completing her MA in Character Animation at Central St Martins, Marian began pursuing an experimental approach to animating fine art materials. She has created animated films using watercolour, charcoal, oil pastels, acrylic paint, scratch on film, origami paper, pixilation, video, found objects, found footage, and other mixed media. 'The Angel in the House' will be her first solo exhibition.

5.30pm: Performances by Oko Mar and Zuriel X

Oko Mar is a duo composed of Franziska Böhm annd Hannah Archambault. Existing at the intersection of movement, voice and electro-acoustic music, its core is imbued with polyphonic chants, minimalism and improvisation. Oko Mar will be performing ‘Everything in between’, a performance that explores what is blurry, full of shades, doubt and questions.

Zuriel X is a poet and multidisciplinary artist working across poetry, photography, visual art and fashion. His practice explores truth, identity, and rebellion through culture, memory, trauma and healing. Zuriel will be performing two poems: 'Bridge' and 'My Spirit's Healing'.
