Four Fun Fridays are back every Friday this August, bringing a fantastic mix of FREE workshops, activities and entertainment to Andover High Street. 

Chapel Arts Studios presents: Eco Explorers Programme

7th August – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Guardians of the Planet

Visitors can drop in to explore recycled materials through open-ended making. Activities include a collaborative recycled sculpture, jar lid magnets and found poetry from old book pages, alongside a Letter from the Planet creative writing prompt.

14th August – Beetles, Bugs & Butterflies: Mini Marvels

Visitors can drop in to create wearable insect masks and imagine seeing the world through the eyes of a beetle, butterfly or bee. A creative writing prompt invites them to write a short story from their insect’s perspective.

21st August – In the Sea: Ocean Explorers

Visitors can drop in to experiment with water art and discover what happens when oil and water mix. A Message in a Bottle creative writing prompt encourages them to imagine life beneath the waves from a sea creature’s perspective.

28th August – Freshwater Adventures

Visitors can drop in to create prints using recycled materials inspired by river textures, wildlife and flowing water. A collaborative Poems That Flow writing activity invites everyone to contribute a line to a shared river-inspired poem.
